Established by a group of students at UCLA in 2010, Swipe Out Hunger is the leading nonprofit ending college student hunger. Based in Los Angeles, our full time team of seven works with students and campus administrators nationwide to implement common-sense solutions to end student hunger within colleges and universities. Additionally, the organization empowers and trains students to be leaders in the movement to end student hunger. Since inception, Swipe Out Hunger has served two million warm, nourishing meals across 130 campuses and 40 states.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Director of Programs will be responsible for the sustainability and growth of Swipe Out Hunger’s programs. The Director of Programs will report to the CEO and will serve as a key leader of the team responsible for program oversight, strategic partners, and program evaluation. They will employ their experience managing several projects and team members as they sustain and grow Swipe Out Hunger’s expanding portfolio of programs. The Director of Programs will serve as the shepherd of Swipe Out Hunger’s anti-hunger work, advising the organization’s leadership on strategic program expansion. They will manage a program team that works on the ground with students, while also influencing the larger vision of our work. The Director of Programs will be joining the team at an exciting moment of growth for the organization.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Programmatic Management, Operations, & Evaluation – 65%
The Director of Programs will drive the organization’s programmatic growth and take it to the next level; create the systems and structures to evaluate ongoing programs, codify impact and uplift the programs team to ensure the greatest impact on the ground, including:
External Relations – 35%
The Director of Programs will manage several ongoing partnerships and work with the CEO to identify like-minded organizations and companies to pursue partnership with.

This is a full-time exempt position, with a salary of $58k-$70k commensurate with experience.
