Since 1996, SAJE has been a force for economic justice in the community focusing on tenants’ rights, healthy housing, and equitable development.
The mission at Strategic Actions for a Just Economy (SAJE) is to build community leadership and power for economic justice. We do this by providing tenants with the tools to advocate for themselves and their neighbors. We also develop policies with tenants that help secure healthy, safe, and affordable housing for all community residents.
SAJE is searching for an Assistant Director who will coordinate our organizing, advocacy, policy and coalition building efforts to advance decommodified housing through forms such as community-controlled housing, social housing, housing cooperatives and more. The Assistant Director will report to the Deputy Director of Policy and Research.
We are looking for an individual eager to help further SAJE’s mission and advance housing as a human right.
