Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Manager, Global Corporate Giving to drive the company’s commitment to impacting the lives of underserved patients and strengthening the communities where we live and work. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Corporate Giving, this role will be responsible for operational excellence in giving initiatives that include investing approximately $10 million per year in grant-making to non-profit organizations around the world, donating Edwards technologies for humanitarian patient care, as well as disaster and relief programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage global distribution of grants:
    • Manage CyberGrants grant software system, including payment processing, reporting, grant applications, impact reports
    • Manage payments for global grant recipients
    • Manage financial data for internal and external reporting
    • Manage grant agreements, in partnership with Legal and Compliance
    • Identify and implement systematic enhancements to improve efficiency of Foundation operations, including effective utilization of the grant software systems, vendors, partners
    • Oversee operations of employee matching gift programs, including expansions to outside-of-U.S. regions and opportunities to scale programs with operational processes
  • Manage budget and financial operations:
    • Prepare C-Suite financial reporting quarterly for foundation board of director meetings and as necessary
    • Manage budget and reconciliation of foundation and corporate expenses
    • Manage the corporate giving financial outlook model, helping foundation board of directors and committees assess program investments and effectiveness
    • Oversee annual financial audit, in partnership with foundation audit committee chair
    • Manage ad-hoc internal audits
    • Manage and oversee relationships with various internal and external financial partners (i.e. banks, donor-advised-funds, tax, legal and accountants)
  • Manage product donation initiative:
    • Partner with Global Supply Chain to donate product from around the globe to humanitarian care partners
    • Continually analyze this new initiative; propose and execute process and reporting improvements
    • Manage and reconcile internal and external reporting on global donations
    • Prepare reporting and presentation for monthly committee meetings
  • Manage disaster and relief programming:
    • Manage fundraising and support for employees in times of need
    • Manage policies, procedures and program guidelines for this new program
  • Manage Global Corporate Giving Guidelines, Policies and Procedures:
    • Propose and execute enhancements for operational excellence and efficiency
    • Develop new policies and procedures, as needed
    • Present suggested modifications to policies and procedures annually


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs, Business Administration, Finance, or related field experience is required
  • A minimum of 10 years related experience, including:
    • 5 years in financial reporting and budget management, preferably with philanthropy and grants management
    • 3 years in data management operational system, preferably with grant-making system
  • Detailed oriented; meticulously organized
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer relationship skills; ability to build trust
  • Collaborative; enjoys working on teams
  • Can effectively manage multiple projects from inception to completion
  • A self-starter
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Excel expert; proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications
