The Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation is a Los Angeles-based, private foundation established in 1982 that is dedicated to improving communities in Southern California and Israel. We support nonprofit organizations in the areas of college access, arts education, Alzheimer’s research and caregiving, land use and parks, Jewish life, economic development and education in Israel, and programs at UCLA and UC Berkeley. Our grantmaking continues the philanthropic vision of Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert who were committed philanthropists, accomplished art collectors and successful entrepreneurs. The Foundation Administrator will be based in our Century City office and will provide administrative and organizational support to the Foundation’s core business team: real estate property management, grantmaking and finance/accounting. We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual with strong written and verbal skills. Applicant must enjoy working in a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-focused, and community oriented. She/he/they will demonstrate initiative, be resourceful and an excellent multi-tasker, and take ownership of projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be inspired by our mission and have a strong desire to grow and to learn from a Foundation’s perspective within the nonprofit sector. This position reports to the Foundation Trustees and is supervised on a day-to-day basis by our Executive Business Support staff member.
