Homeboy Industries is the largest and preeminent gang rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world. For over 30 years, the organization has offered an “exit ramp” for those stuck in a cycle of violence and incarceration, helping them develop the strength and skills to transform their lives and become contributing members of our community. The organization's holistic approach, with free services and programs, supports nearly 9,000 men and women per year as they work to overcome their pasts, reimagine their futures, and break the intergenerational cycle of gang violence. Therapeutic and educational offerings (case management, counseling, and classes), practical services (e.g., tattoo removal, work readiness, and legal assistance), and job training-focused businesses (e.g., Homeboy Bakery, Homegirl Café & Catering, and Homeboy Electronics Recycling) provide healing and alternatives to gang life, while creating more inclusive and healthier communities.
The Marketing Manager – Social Media & Creative services team member plays a key role that will drive community growth, engagement, loyalty and donations by leveraging the strength of the Homeboy Industries (HBI) brand across all online and offline platforms. Working closely with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will create and execute marketing initiatives that drive awareness and loyalty of the HBI portfolio of brands. Additionally, by creating compelling photography, videos and copy, the Marketing Manager will own the management of the organization’s online presence.
This exciting position holds great potential for someone who wants to grow in their career while directly making an impact in people’s lives. With an actively engaged social following of 300K+ as well as an established email audience, the Marketing Manager will independently lead initiatives that have to potential to reach hundreds of thousands of people daily.
In order to effectively communicate on Homeboy Industries’ platforms, the Manager will be expected to actively engage in the mission and vision of the organization. Additionally, they should be able to work well with a wide population of people ranging from clients and outside agencies to donors and senior staff.
This position requires someone who is nimble, pro-active and can work with little direction. They must have a bias for action and positivity. Additionally, as a member within the Development Team they should be able to prioritize a full workload with focus and finesse.

Salary to be negotiated depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time exempt position with a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, paid holidays and retirement account.
