Manager, Digital & New Media Strategy

We seek a skilled professional with agency experience, who is passionate about leveraging their 5+ years of Digital & New Media experience to make lasting social change. The primary function of this position is to manage the strategy and execution for the agency’s individual, nonprofit, and corporate clients’ digital strategy work, while also growing the digital/new media strategy department to identify and create best practices within the social impact space. In this role, you will have the opportunity to think strategically, boldly, creatively, and practically about how to tackle some of the biggest social issues of today. Key methods through which you will do this include:

Strategy Development

  • Develop, manage, and execute research-driven digital strategies for our nonprofit, individual, and corporate clients that include: creative campaigns, content creation, message development, digital distribution, and digital advertising
  • Monitor trends in the digital space, and proactively share recommendations with the team and clients
  • Leverage social listening platforms to analyze data and provide recommendations for clients
  • Analyze and evaluate executed strategies, including campaigns’ successes and areas of opportunity/growth


Client Services Support

  • Create and review client-ready deliverables, including strategy memos and decks, social media management, content calendars, newsletters, and analytics reports
  • Oversee and ensure quality control of all digital content distributed by the department, including daily social media postings, brand aesthetic, content creation, and execution by the Digital Strategy team
  • Support Client Services teams in all communications with digital clients to provide and appropriately frame updates, strategic advice, and answer questions to ensure continued strategic alignment and client satisfaction


Project Management and Execution

  • Develop and manage multiple complex project plans across the department’s clients, appropriately prioritizing and reprioritizing as the clients’ and department’s work evolves and shifts
  • Work closely with Client Services teams to ensure exceptional and timely delivery against the scoped services for each client
  • Edit and manage client content management systems
  • Develop, support, and manage relationships with key digital partners and vendors
  • Manage and oversee website builds and delivery of services, including vendor identification and management

  • SEASONED DIGITAL COMMS PROFESSIONAL: You have at least 5 years of digital communications work experience, including the management of digital accounts within an agency. You are driven by the myriad of ways that digital and new media can drive social impact.

You may have a favorite social platform, but you know how to use them all, and you are always the first of your friends to adopt the new ones You have experience developing content calendars, analyzing analytics, creating and executing paid social strategy, and managing online communities.
