Mockingbird Analytics, Inc. is a startup b-corp, we work with non-profit and social good organizations to help them tell the story of their work through management, infrastructure and development. We are looking for a qualified person to join our company to participate in supporting our daily activities as well as work on various client-based projects with small non-profit organizations.

Our ideal candidate is a passionate individual interested in learning more about non-profit organizations and work in a very hands-on way with them with minimal supervision. We are also looking for someone who can contribute ideas to help grow our business and our client’s social good efforts. For the right person, this position is intended to lead to full-time director level position as we grow.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the logistics of our monthly workshops and networking events including marketing, food, and client follow up.

  • Work closely with our clients to assess their needs and establish an action plan to achieve client goals. 

  • Social media management and event promotion

  • Produce and distribute our bi-monthly newsletter

  • Basic bookkeeping

  • Follow up with clients and prospects.

  • Consistent updates on our website.

 

Requirements

  • MBA or other masters level degree in the Los Angeles area who is majoring in business, marketing, communications or other related organizational management fields.

  • Be able to work at least 1 day a week in person with our team. The rest can be remote work, though we are always happy to spend more time together. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Interested in working with nonprofit and social good organizations.

  • Knowledge of new communication and collaboration technology and tools (such as Google Drive)

  • Squarespace knowledge is a plus.

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English

  • Passionate about growing social good organizations and working in scrappy but quickly growing business

 

Compensation

This is a part-time opportunity. Salary is commensurate with experience.
