Reporting to the President, the Chief Financial Officer serves on the Executive Council and functions as liaison to the Provost’s Council. The CFO provides leadership and strategic direction to budgeting and strategic planning in all matters financial, risk management, business decision-making, and investment of endowments and reserves and personnel policy. The CFO also supervises the non-academic operations of the seminary including housing, facilities, legal, auxiliary, and human resources. The ideal candidate will have at least five to ten years of experience in a higher education setting or relevant business or nonprofit organization with demonstrated expertise and success in financial and administrative leadership. Professionals from the for-profit sector are also encouraged to apply. An advanced degree is strongly preferred; a CPA and/or MBA is desirable.
