DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Vista's Behavior Therapists provide support and therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults with autism and other related disabilities using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) through learning and play-based strategies. Behavior Therapists work with kiddos in client homes and in their communities to guide them towards a brighter future. Behavior Therapists are provided with an iPad, games, and other fun resources to help those from ages 3-18 make progress in their social and behavioral growth. Vista's clinical and administrative staff are supportive and provide ample hands-on training.

HOURS: Work up to 30+ hours per week with flexible scheduling options to set your own availability every 3-4 months.

Must be available between the hours of 2pm-8pm on weekdays. Saturday hours are available and optional.

Work extra hours during school breaks such as Thanksgiving week, Winter break, Spring break, and Summer break. We offer flexible scheduling in positive, supportive environment. We believe that communication and work/life balance are key and are able to provide staff with seasonal availability change - whether it is a second job, school or personal commitment.

PAY: $19-$25 DOE in relevant field

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience working with children (entry level welcome)

- Committed, fun, outgoing, energetic and eager to teach and learn with excellent communication skills

- Availability in the late afternoons (peak hours are MON-FRI between 2pm-8pm SAT: 9am-5pm)

-Proof of legal residence in USA; documentation will be verified by Vista

- Reliable transportation (Vista does not offer reimbursement for public transportation or ride share

- Valid CA driver's license and proof of car insurance

- TB clearance and background check required

- COVID vaccination or qualifying exemption required

- Bilingual is a plus!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
