The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting and guiding interns through the organization’s programs to ensure a successful and meaningful experience. This role focuses on facilitating intern engagement, tracking progress, and providing hands-on coordination to help interns meet their program goals.
The Program Coordinator will organize schedules, monitor attendance and performance, and serve as the primary point of contact for interns—offering direction, mentorship, and encouragement. They will also collaborate with staff, partners, and community sites to maintain smooth program operations and uphold the organization’s mission and standards
Roles & responsibilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
Strong time management skills to ensure timely completion of program activities.
Detail-oriented approach to managing schedules, resources, and documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills for working with team members, stakeholders, participants, and partners.
Flexibility to adapt to changing program requirements and priorities.
Openness to learning new skills and approaches.
Resilience to handle the pressures of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
