Phone Banker Position (Temporary, Part-Time)
Roles & responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Call Filipino Voters from a list to be provided and provide relevant information in favor or Derek Tran (D)
Assist individuals to find ballot drop off locations
Make phone calls for long periods of time
Participate in trainings as needed
Qualifications
Successful candidates shall possess:
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Have progressive values
Effective interpersonal skills
Highly organized with their work and accountable with their time
Be a team player
Ability to take direction
Efficient and goal oriented
Bilingual in English and Tagalog
Ability to get to the OC Action Office in Buena Park, CA.
Feel comfortable talking to voters in a partisan manner
Ability to comfortably use technology (zoom, call hub & google sheets)
Work is expected to commence from Wednesday, October 16 until November 4, 2024.
New hire orientation will be on November 16th (in office mandatory.)
Work Schedule:
Oct 16, 1:30p- 8pm including orientation, training and phone banking (IN PERSON)
Oct 17, 3:30p - 8pm Phone banking
Oct 23, 3:30p - 8pm Phone banking
Oct 24, 3:30p - 8pm Phone banking
Oct 30, 3:30p - 8pm Phone banking
Nov 4, 3:30p - 8pm Phone banking 8
Compensation
$25.00/hour
Temporary til Nov 4th, 2024.
Must live in Orange County.
Phone banking can be done at home (virtual) or at OC Action Office (Buena Park).
