We work in the principles of (ABA), Social Skills, (DTT), (PRT), Verbal Behavior, and PECS in the West Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Antelope Valley, Big Bear, and Santa Clarita Areas.
Roles & responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Inspiring growth in others and shaping behavior
Working closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in implementing the individualized, direct intervention for clients
Implementing behavior management procedures
Collecting data to inform the programming and client progress
Completing session notes and medical documentation for services.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have an Associate degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work or related human services field AND active RBT certification or equivalent, OR
Must have a relevant Associate's degree completed with a Bachelor's degree in progress in Psychology, Education, Social Work or related human services field, OR
Must have a completed Bachelor’s or Master's Degree, in Psychology, Education, Social Work or related human services field
Have at least (2) years of experience supporting individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities, and be a considerate individual who understands the importance of clinical consistency within the ABA population (highly preferred)
Ability to clear FBI, DOJ, and TB testing
Have access to reliable transportation, and ability to provide automobile insurance and a valid driver’s license
Must be able and willing to travel a minimum radius of 20 miles from home
Reliable and predictable attendance is required, subject to law
Vaccination for COVID-19 - some schools/organizations we work with may require COVID vaccination for direct support
Must be able to fluently speak and write in English
Certifications highly valued
