The Membership & Parent Services Assistant is a team-oriented, mission driven individual who seeks to provide customer care to the members, parents, and community of A Place Called Home. Under the direction of the Membership and Parent Services Senior Manager, the Membership & Parent Services Assistant implements program and agency goals, REACH objectives and agency best practices, and membership efficiencies. The Membership Assistant provides critical customer support and acts as an interface while building relationships with families, parents, members and community.
Roles & responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Perform receptionist duties as needed, including transferring calls and assisting guests
Provides exemplary customer service and hospitality to members and families
Provides a safe environment for members at APCH, by assisting in supervision and member dismissal
Provides administrative support related to membership intake, orientation, enrollment, attendance, renewal, outreach and documentation
Assists with the renewal of membership status
Assists with the facilitation of new member orientations, parent meetings, and recruitment events
Assists in the management and creation of class schedules
Assists in processing membership applications and registration forms
Generate, post, and circulate flyers announcements for membership orientations and center closures
Assists with Parent Programming
Program automated remind reminders to parents
Supports member wide communication through the creation and update of member contact information in the software Remind
Supports in updating the APCH Virtual Programs Hub
Other Non-Essential Responsibilities
Maintain and submit all paperwork in a timely fashion
Mentor through actions and behavior in observing dress code, language, and team support
Maintains a neat and orderly work area that is presentable to the public at all times
Participate in all agency events
Adheres to the highest ethical and professional standards and values at all times
Perform other tasks as assigned

Education/Training/Experience
Degree: High School diploma or equivalent
1-2 years experience of related experience and/or training
Ability to speak, write and understand Spanish (Required)

Walking, standing required on daily basis
Sitting and use of hands/vision for computer work for extended periods of time
Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
