InHerShoes is a registered non-profit where the foundation of everything we do begins and ends with one question: What would you do if you were 1% more courageous? Our mission is simple: catalyze courage for young girls to make a difference in their communities, now​. We work with first generation girls from modest means and create programs that allow them to stand in their accomplishments, ideate the change they want to make in their communities, and give them resources and scholarship to bring their idea to life. We’re committed to unlocking the genius of a generation to re-defy traditional standards of what it looks like to be a successful woman today.

We’re​ ​looking​ ​for​ ​a​ ​creative​ ​individual​ ​who​ ​has​ ​a​ ​passion​ ​for​ ​visual​ ​content​ ​and​ ​a​ ​keen​ ​aesthetic​ ​eye​ ​for​ ​turning ideas​ ​into​ ​visual​ ​realities.​ ​The​ ​Visual​ ​Content​ ​Curator​ ​will​ ​work​ ​alongside​ ​the​ ​Marketing​ ​and​ ​Outreach Coordinator.​ ​You​ ​will​ ​bring​ ​your​ ​unique​ ​experience​ ​working​ ​with​ ​visual​ ​media​ ​and​ ​eye​ ​catching​ ​images​ ​delivered to​ ​a​ ​wide​ ​audience.​ ​You​ ​believe​ ​in​ ​InHerShoes’s​ ​Mission​ ​and​ ​are​ ​a​ ​representation​ ​of​ ​being​ ​1%​ ​more​ ​courageous.

You​ ​Will...

  • Create web, social + newsletter design executions that address different project needs
  • Bring effective visual ideas from concept through to completion
  • Extend visual ideas into tailored content across all digital platforms
  • Curate content that align with the InHerShoes brand

You​ ​Have...

  • An innate sense of creativity and curiosity, with an editorial eye for content
  • Visual and aesthetic skills, including but not limited to photography and graphic design, as well as experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity and passion for the InHerShoes brand
  • Access to a laptop and an ability to create and propose project timelines as directed
  • The ability to create and present concepts visually
  • Strong understanding of typography and layout
  • Ability to set up files for print and web
  • The ability to work and thrive as a self-starter
